This 47000 mile example seemed particularly good, but I wasn’t up for the $11000 price just yet.

I’ve started wondering I should find something without structural problems on copart, and just plan for an engine and transmission swap to 2ZZ and 6 speed.

Still not sure how I would sit low enough in it to meet the broomstick rule, but it should be doable with a different seat.

What does Oppo think?

I don’t know about any of that , but unnecessary car shopping is best car shopping.

Yeah, it's one of the more expensive that I've seen listed.

I’ve rarely seen them crack the $10k mark for a decent example. Maybe cheaper in the rust belt, but I searched for a while around me in PA and $10-12 was pretty standard.

Sold my 2001 in 2014 with 81k miles, canvas roof, custom bracing, and a couple tiny cosmetic mods for $6500.

Kills me.

I don’t know if it’s the same over there but the PFL cars are worth a lot less than the FL cars. The six speed and supposed engine fixes bump up the price.
